Label.M makes move to sustainability and biocompatibility

In a major revamp for the hair care & styling brand, Label.M has become one of the first in the industry to invest in 100% recyclable pumps.

Furthermore, products have been reformulated with powerful botanical ingredients from sustainable or renewable sources.

Says Sacha Mascolo, who founded Label.M with her late father Toni Mascolo back in 2005: “Label.M is conscious of the pressing issues facing our planet and is committed to finding sustainable ways of producing products that are as kind to the environment as they are to your hair and scalp. We believe it is our responsibility to ‘do better’ and create positive change. Our soft, tactile packaging is made of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.

“As we strongly believe that great hair starts from the inside-out, using advanced, clinically-tested ingredients blended with balancing botanicals, we have made biocompatibility a priority throughout our Cleanse and Condition formulations. Biocompatibility goes beyond clean and natural beauty by embracing botanical ingredients and safe synthetics that are proven to work.”

The new products have already been used backstage to create the hair for industry's leading designers at the recent London Fashion Week. Mascolo notes that Label.M has been the Official Product of London Fashion Week since 2013 and that the brand is used across 7,000+ salons in 64 countries, including all Toni&Guy salons.
