Leading hair care, nail care and skincare distributor, Twincare International, has acquired Splush, one of the largest hairdressing retail outlets in South Africa.
Currently Splush is found nationally in 15 locations across South Africa, in all major shopping districts. The Splush model is based on the ‘Drybar’ concept and stores specialise in the retailing of professional haircare and skincare from all the best brands internationally.
Says Twincare CEO, Stav Dimitriadis: “We acquired Splush from Gerald Wells of Gerald Wells Hairdressing as we believe there is an opportunity in offering the consumer all the major brands, with a full range offering.
“In addition, Splush caters for express services like blow-dries and treatments at very affordable prices. Splush targets a new consumer looking for quick and professional service and accessible retail.”
Dimitriadis reveals that Twincare will open a new Splush store in November in Fourways, with plans to open another 10 stores in 2020.
